Make-A-Wish & The Zippy Fund Partnership

Thrilled to share that The Zippy Fund partnered with Make A Wish on their "Adopt A Wish" Program!!

Johanna is a seven-year old girl from NJ battling leukemia. She loves the movie Frozen, eating Starburst, Carrabba's Italian Grill and her favorite color is purple. When asked "If you could have one wish, what would it be?"....Johanna wished to go to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas because she loves animals and wants to swim with the dolphins! This summer her wish will be granted as she and her family are whisked away to the Bahamas!

The Zippy Fund couldn't be prouder to be the support behind the fulfilling of Johanna's wish ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™

When Zippy was sick, Make-A-Wish granted his wish to take our entire family to Fiji. We'll never forget the memories our family celebrated together after his long battles, and hope we've given Johanna's family that same feeling - it will last a lifetime.

Cameron: Our 4-year-old Fighter

Cameron is a four year old boy who was diagnosed with brain cancer at the end of February 2016. Despite finishing chemo this month, he received recent news that a new tumor has surfaced. Cameron's positive attitude and infectious smile has kept those around him upbeat during his fight.

We are honored to have been a small part of his journey helping his family with support and are sending a lot of love, strength and prayers to his entire family.

Christian Isola & His Family

When we started The Zippy Fund, our goal was to holistically help patients & their families. We know better than most that treatment affects all aspects of every family members lives. Christian Isola was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier this year, and is battling every day at The Valerie Center. Christian's parents, Rachel & Dana, needed financial support to assist with childcare for their 8th month old son while Christian is in chemo 4 times a week. The Zippy Fund, and all of you, are financially supporting the Isola Family's new childcare for their youngest son. We want Christian and his parents to focus on treatments and beating cancer.

Carmine's Story

Carmine is a 19 year old young man who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April of 2014 when he was a junior in High School. He was able to return to school after the initial phase of his treatment in his Senior Year and graduated in June 2015. He still continues with the maintenance phase of his treatment. While in treatment his dad, who was battling cancer himself lost his fight. Carmineโ€™s mom is now supporting her mother, mother-in-law and her 2 sons. All Carmine had dreamed about since he was 14 years old was to go to college and be able to play basketball. He thought he would not be able to achieve that dream. Thanks to the Valerie Fund Carmine was able to just complete his first semester at College and will be playing basketball next winter. With continued support from the Zippy Fund Carmine is assured he can continue to attend college and be able to achieve his dream.
