$17 for the Class of 2017

In just a few day we are going to be hitting a HUGE milestone for our family.....Zippy graduates from College of Charleston on May 13, 2017!

In honor of our college graduate and all our patients working towards getting to and graduating from college healthy & cancer free, we are running a campaign to award a Zippy Fund patient a $1700 scholarship this fall.

Help us reach our goal in the month of May by donating $17 for the College of Charleston class of 2017:

When Zippy walks across that stage, it's bigger than him and our family. It is showing all our Zippy Fund patients that yes, cancer can take you off course, but the finish line is that much sweeter!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month - Support Our Campaign

To all Zippy Fund Supporters:

Happy September! This month represents a fresh start - back to school, football, beautiful fall weather, etc.  More importantly, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month.

According to the National Cancer Institute, each day 43 children are diagnosed with this dreadful disease. That means, during the month of September, nearly 1,300 children will be diagnosed with some form of cancer. Their back to school shopping and new year will come to an abrupt halt. In honor of the 1,300 children that will be diagnosed this month, The Zippy Fund is asking for a $13 donation from each of our supports in hopes of raising $1,300 this month.

Since our inception, we've helped over 10 families, some of which you can read about here. All of the funds go directly to cancer patients and their families. During our 13for30 campaign, we will be releasing another patient story each week to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness month.

It's been a humbling, exciting time to be a part of The Zippy Fund and none of it would be possible without all of you. Thank you!!

Join us this month and spread the word! After you make your donation, share the word with your friends & family in hopes of helping us get to our goal.

#13for30

Beckham's 'Catch' a moment Giants rookie, new friend will share forever

The NFL-watching world saw what many called the greatest catch they had ever seen when Giants rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. jumped into the air and cradled the football with one hand, capturing the imagination of millions by the time he came tumbling to the turf for a remarkable touchdown. All James “Zippy” Cimino saw was the lime green bracelets on Beckham’s right wrist...
